The Garmin nuvi 2595LMT GPS Navigator has a number of good features. It has a 5-inch display, comes with lifetime maps & traffic updates and has speech recognition. You can control the Garmin 2595LMT with your voice, while you keep both hands on the steering wheel. Of course, you can also use the touch-screen to control the Garmin nuvi 2595LMT. The screen is very good, it is easy to read, even in bright sunlight. The touch-screen, sensitivity and accuracy, works better than on the older Garmin models.
The free lifetime maps and traffic updates are very useful, extending the time you can use your Garmin 2595LMT. The free updates come with pop-up ads but it looks like the frequency of the ads has decreased compared with earlier Garmin free maps and traffic updates.
The Garmin nuvi 2595LMT has a split screen mode, which shows you how an upcoming intersection looks like, while the other part of the screen shows you the normal view. The Lane Assist is a good feature, making sure that you will be in the right lane when approaching a junction.
The Garmin 2595LMT features Bluetooth connectivity so you can make and receive hands-free phone calls. The dual-orientation functionality makes it possible to hold the nuvi 2595LMT horizontally or vertically. The Garmin nuvi 2595LMT has a microSD card slot so you can store more maps and voices.
Note that the Garmin nuvi 2595LMT has a new user interface compared with older Garmin models. In many ways the new interface is better but if you are used to the old version, you need to relearn a couple of things.

I just bought this and I love it. I like the voice activated command. A fun part is that you can customize the vehicle that shows on your screen. Garmingarage has tons to choose from. They also have custom voices as well. Just plain fun. The real reason I bought it was for the new junction views. They are so much better than the old ones especially if you are in a congested area where the roads get confusing. This is a big step forward for GPS.
